Our Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) approach is built on four essential elements:
Foundational EHS Systems
We ensure all team members have the knowledge, tools and support to work safely. This includes robust onboarding, chemical hazard training and access to safe systems, equipment and procedures.

Katie Hernandez
Vice President, Strategic Initiatives
Katie joined Arclin in 2016 and has held a variety of positions of increasing responsibility throughout the business, including within the finance and supply chain organizations, as well as part of the integration of various acquisitions. In 2023, Katie was named Vice President of Strategic Initiatives, responsible for working cross-functionally to deliver on various growth, expansion, and other corporate initiatives. Prior to joining Arclin, Katie held positions with T. Rowe Price and FG Financial Group. She holds a Master of Business Administration from Arkansas State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting from the University of South Florida.
Scot Johnson
Senior Vice President, New Markets & Innovation
Scot has been a part of Arclin since 1987 and was instrumental in establishing its first U.S. plant – a surface treating facility located in Hayward, Wisconsin. He has held numerous positions throughout his tenure from QC Supervisor to various Technical Sales and Service roles, to Business Development Director, leading to Senior Leadership positions at Arclin in both resin and surfaces. Scot has helped develop several key strategic new business and product initiatives. He is currently serving as the SVP of New Markets & Innovation. Scot is a graduate of the University of Minnesota, Duluth, and holds a double BAS Major in Industrial Engineering Technology and Business Administration.
